Course Overview

At Buckinghamshire New University, the BSc (Hons) Game Development course prepares students for careers in one of the world’s fastest-growing creative industries. You'll graduate with a well-rounded skill set that combines strong technical ability with a creative vision for designing and building games.

The course benefits from the support of our Game Development Society, which hosts regular events such as game jams and e-sports competitions, giving students valuable opportunities to showcase their work, connect with peers, and expand their networks.

This course is also available with an optional Foundation Year, ideal for students who may not yet meet the entry requirements or want extra preparation. The Foundation Year helps develop academic skills, build confidence, and identify your strengths to ensure a smooth transition into the full undergraduate programme.
