The course is evenly divided, with 50% of the time spent on theoretical learning and 50% on practical placements in various health and social care settings, including the NHS.
The curriculum is a blend of classroom and online activities, which helps students learn to care for adults with long-term and serious illnesses. The programme uses problem-based learning and simulations to prepare students for professional practice. Upon completion, students will be eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
