FdA Creative Arts for Health and Wellbeing

The FdA Creative Arts for Health and Wellbeing at the University of Suffolk is a two-year course that prepares students to use creative techniques in care, health, and education settings. The course also focuses on how art and imagination support personal well-being, resilience, and mental health recovery.

During the programme, students will explore the concepts of psychotherapy for therapeutic application in practice and gain professional experience through a job or suitable voluntary placement. Students will be assessed through coursework assignments, including the compilation of a detailed professional portfolio to document their practical abilities.

Grade Requirements

• Applicants generally need a minimum of 80 UCAS Tariff points from Level 3 qualifications, A Levels, or a Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma.

English Proficiency

• Applicants whose first language is not English need to score 6.0 overall in the IELTS test, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
