MSc International Master Project Management

Course Overview

The MSc International Master Project Management is suitable for both recent graduates and those already in the workplace. The programme allows students to explore the latest approaches in project management with a focus on managerial, behavioural, and technical skills.

Students will learn to address the demands of modern projects within organisations and gain knowledge that combines project management as a process to make changes with strategic management as a process for formulating and applying organisational strategy.

Graduates from the programme will receive two degree awards – one from each institution:

  • Master Universitario di livello in Project Management – Politecnico di Milano.
  • Master of Science in Project Management – Strathclyde Business School.

Each university contributes its expertise in research, consultancy, and teaching in project management to deliver an international teaching programme.

Entry Requirements for Nigerian Students

Interested candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. An academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CV along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants are expected to have a bachelor's degree (or an equivalent academic degree) of a minimum of three years duration and 180 ECTS credits in any discipline. Candidates should have a minimum second-class Honours degree or equivalent CGPA.

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds usually need an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the four components.
  • Alternatively, equivalent qualifications like PTE and TOEFL are also accepted.

Cost of Study

The annual tuition fee for international students on the MSc International Master Project Management at the University of Strathclyde is £24,000.
