Physics with Artificial Intelligence (MPhys)
University of SouthamptonHighfield, Southampton
Course overview
Get an introduction to modern physics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and computer science with our physics and AI master's degree. On our MPhys course, you'll learn about the main branches and principles of physics. You'll also study some of the advanced concepts and techniques used in the field today – from quantum science to relativity.
You'll get an introduction to how AI and machine learning are applied in modern physics, and understand topics in the growing trend of AI. You'll also learn the techniques needed to design the next generation of experiments and solve complex problems in the modern world. As you progress through the programme, you'll become an increasingly independent learner and physicist, developing skills in: problem solving critical and quantitative analysis practical experimentation and measurement computer programming Physics and astronomy are dynamic subjects which are always being developed by new discoveries and innovations.
