BSc International Business
Course overview
The BSc International Business at the University of Roehampton is a four-year course. It includes a foundation year, which helps you build the basic skills you need for university. This course is perfect if you want to learn how businesses work around the world.
You’ll study topics like marketing, finance, management, and global trade. You’ll also learn how different countries do business, how to manage teams from different cultures, and how to make smart business choices in a global market.
Additionally, after Year 2, you can choose to participate in an optional work placement to put these skills into reality. With the help of the school’s Placement Office, this is an opportunity to obtain practical experience before graduation, earn money, and also build relationships.
Entry requirements
A personal statement and reference are required as part of the application. For a successful application, you will need to provide academic transcripts, a personal statement, and proof of English proficiency.
Grade Requirements:
- Applicants should have a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points. This could be from A-levels, BTECs, or an equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
English Proficiency:
- International students need to demonstrate proficiency in English. The typical requirement is IELTS 5.0 overall, with no less than 4.5 in each component. Other equivalent English language qualifications may also be accepted.

Roehampton Higher Technical Qualification (HNC/ HND) Scholarship
The scholarships are worth £2000, paid for the length of your course.
Up to £2,000Roehampton Women in Esports Scholarship
Up to four scholarships available to first year students starting in September, each worth up to £2,000 a year.
