BEng Civil Engineering and Construction Management Top-Up

The BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering and Construction Management (Top-Up) degree aims to develop students' technical engineering expertise and management skills, preparing them for leadership roles in the construction industry with a focus on sustainable practices.

This programme is designed to give students advanced skills to manage large construction projects from design to completion. It can be completed full-time in one year or thirteen months, and or part-time in twenty-five months, with start dates in September, January, and May. 

The coursework includes core topics like Sustainable Construction, Geotechnical and Materials Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Infrastructure, Safety Management on Site, and Project Management for Construction, with additional flexibility to select from specific optional modules.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants need a relevant Level 5 qualification, such as a proper HND, foundation degree, or 240 credits from the first and second years of an undergraduate degree (BEng/BSc) in a related subject.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants need at least 6.0 overall in IELTS Academic, with no individual score below 5.5.
• Cambridge English Advanced (169 overall, no component less than 162) and PTE Academic (62 overall, minimum 59 in each skill).

The annual tuition fees for the BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering and Construction Management (Top-Up) course for the 2025/26 academic year are £16,200 for full-time and £8,100 for part-time.
