Entry Requirements

Grade Requirements:

To be eligible for this degree, applicants should hold a first or upper-second-class honours degree in a relevant subject. In some cases, credits previously earned through a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) may also be considered as part of the qualification.

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants must have an IELTS of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each element to show proof of English proficiency. Other equivalent tests are also accepted. 

Cost of Study

For the 2025/2026 academic year, the tuition fee to study the MA Education program at the University of Lincoln is £17,100.

Scholarships

The University of Lincoln offers a range of scholarship opportunities for students looking to further their studies. Financial support is provided in different forms, and the fees range from partial to total reduction. One of such is the Commonwealth Scholarships, which covers full tuition fees as well as flight fees and stipends at the rate of £1,378 per month. 

The Lincoln Sports Scholarship offers financial support to help student-athletes develop their skills and reach their full potential, both academically and in their chosen sport. The scholarship is worth £1,000 per year and is designed to support athletes in balancing their studies with high-level sporting performance.
