LLM Law Human Rights Law
Course overview
The LLM Law (Human Rights Law) at the University of Kent enables students to learn how international law responds to war, human rights abuse, forced migration, and modern slavery. They will examine the laws that protect individuals and promote justice, as well as how international law can defend human dignity and foster global justice.
Students will study the rules that govern war and peace, the international protection of human rights, and the legal responses to global issues such as modern slavery, terrorism, and forced migration. They will also have the opportunity to customise their studies to their interests through specialist modules on topics such as international criminal justice, refugees, and human trafficking, as well as the connection between human rights and the environment.
