BSc Sociology
Course overview
The BSc Sociology at the University of Kent is a degree that helps you understand how society really works. You will learn everyday issues like inequality, crime, migration, social media, gender, work, the environment, and power, all explained in clear, simple language. The course is taught by active researchers, so you learn from people who are helping create new knowledge.
You will be taught in different interesting ways. There are lectures, small seminars, practical workshops, and computer classes where you learn to use programmes like SPSS to analyse real data. Assessment is also carried out using different methods.
