MSc Management with Sustainability

The MSc Management with Sustainability is designed to make individuals into managers capable of overseeing businesses effectively. It explores the different aspects of management from the role of management in the international economy to the society and planet as a whole. 

This course focuses on the challenges of sustainable decision-making: how to ensure that businesses maintain transparency and a positive environmental impact while considering the future of the business. From this course, individuals will understand every part of management and gain transferable skills that are relevant to most workplaces.

The University of Hertfordshire’s MSc in Management with Sustainability programme employs an active and expert teaching staff to combine theory with practice across all modules. This practice-based teaching method adopts an assessment method that includes group work, debates, presentations, case studies, and written reports. 

Additionally, students will undertake a subject-specific research proposal, working in groups with the support of a research tutor, and are offered subject specialists to assist them. Students will be supported in all areas of research-related activity through a series of one-to-one and small group meetings.
