BSc Forensic Science with Criminology and Industrial Placement

University of Greenwich

Course overview

This exciting four-year course includes an Industrial Placement year, which lets students use their skills and get important work experience. It combines forensic science with criminology, covering subjects like counter-terrorism, cybercrime, and how the Criminal Justice System works. This degree is formally approved by the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences.

The programme uses specialist forensic facilities, such as modern laboratories, mock crime scenes, a vehicle examination garage, and a mock mortuary for disaster victim identification. Students will be taught by industry experts from the police and emergency services. Their grades will be judged through assessments, including mock-court exercises, which prepare them for professional jobs in areas like homicide and toxicology.
