MSc Project Management

The MSc Project Management programme at the University of East London is designed to help students learn how to manage different types of projects within organisations. Students are taught how to lead projects, manage risks, and create sustainable value chains. They also discover how to determine project needs, gather resources, plan activities, and manage contracts. 

In addition, the programme includes modules on financial management, data analysis, and business research to provide a well-rounded education. A special feature of this course is the chance to earn professional certification, like the Association for Project Management (APM), which is available to students who meet certain criteria. The programme can be completed full-time in one year or part-time over two years, with an optional year for practical work experience.

Before graduation, students will develop skills in critical thinking, leadership, and adaptability, making them ready for project management roles in various fields such as construction, IT, and healthcare.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants need to hold at least a 2:2 Bachelor's degree or a comparable international credential, particularly in any subject related to Construction, Law, or Business Management.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants should have an overall IELTS score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill section. Alternative test scores like TOEFL iBT or PTE Academic are also valid. 

International students enrolling in the University of East London’s MSc Project Management course for the 2025/26 academic year will pay a full-time tuition fee of £18,360. Be aware that this fee may rise annually. 

The University of East London offers a range of scholarships that go from £500 to £5,000 to make studying undergraduate or postgraduate courses more affordable for international students. These are awarded automatically when students apply for admission, so no separate application is needed. 

UEL also works with partners like Chevening and the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission to provide more funding options. Please keep in mind that scholarships do not apply to short courses, franchised programmes, or international foundational programmes.
