MSc Islamic Banking and Finance
Course overview
The MSc in Islamic Banking and Finance at the University of Dundee gives students a comprehensive understanding of Islamic finance principles and their application in the global financial system. This curriculum, developed in conjunction with Al-Maktoum College, investigates the ethical and practical elements of Islamic banking, financial markets, and risk management.
You will learn about Shari'ah-compliant financial operations, the differences between Islamic and conventional finance, and how to manage current industry difficulties. The course also includes an optional internship, which provides hands-on exposure in Islamic finance organisations.

As part of your application, you must provide a CV outlining your academic and professional experience, an academic or professional reference, and a personal statement expressing your interest in the course and career ambitions. If you fail to meet the regular academic or English language criteria, the university provides pre-sessional English courses and paths through the International College Dundee.
