BN Adult Nursing
Course overview
The University of Chester Adult Nursing BN with Foundation Year programme is for students who do not meet the direct entry requirements for the standard three-year degree or feel they would benefit from additional academic preparation. The first year, the Professional Studies Foundation Year, will provide students with the essential academic knowledge and study skills that are necessary for success in a professional and vocational healthcare environment.
After students' successful completion of the Foundation Year, they progress directly onto the three-year NMC-accredited Adult Nursing degree, which will prepare them to become registered adult nurses. The structure of this course helps to equip students with comprehensive clinical knowledge and hands-on experience through practice learning opportunities in various health settings.
