BSc Psychology with integrated Foundation
Course overview
This three-year BSc Psychology with Integrated Foundation at the University of Buckingham includes an extra year to help students get ready before starting the main degree. The first year is a dedicated Foundation year that provides students with a strong foundation in key knowledge and study skills, ensuring they are prepared for the more difficult subjects in the final two years. The entire qualification is recognised and approved by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
The teaching uses the University's well-known system of small-group tutorials to help students learn and discuss the subjects. Students will study all the core theories of psychology and have the opportunity to take specialist courses such as Cyberpsychology and the eight main parts of professional practice. The course strongly focuses on hands-on research methods and data analysis, which gives students useful skills for many careers.
