Entry Requirements

Candidates are required to submit a personal statement. In this statement, they should discuss their reasons for applying for the course and provide other relevant information regarding their studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CVs along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.

Grade Requirements: 

  • Applicants typically need 96 UCAS tariff points, which should include 80 points from at least three A-levels or equivalent qualifications, such as a BTEC Extended Diploma (DDM), T Levels, or the International Baccalaureate.
  • Equivalent international qualifications are also accepted.

English Proficiency: 

  • If English is not your primary language, you need an overall IELTS score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the four components (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). 
  • The university also accepts equivalent English language test scores, such as those from TOEFL or PTE Academic.

Cost of Study

International students pay £16,900 per year as tuition for the full-time standard undergraduate for the Academic Year 2025/26.

Scholarships

The University of Bedfordshire provides scholarships and bursaries to provide financial help to students. These include Excellence Scholarships, which award £2,500 each year for three years to students who achieve a set number of UCAS tariff points. Additionally, Achievement Scholarships offer £500 per year to students with 120 UCAS tariff points. International students may also be eligible for a £1,000 scholarship in their first year.
