Entry Requirements for Nigerian Students

Academic Requirements:

  • Applicants must hold a good honours degree (2:2 or above) in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • Candidates without formal academic qualifications but possessing professional certifications and significant work experience in engineering or technology may also be considered at the discretion of the Admissions Board.
  • Applicants must submit a personal statement, an employer reference, and may include a CV demonstrating relevant experience.

English Language Requirements:

  • IELTS (Academic or UKVI): Overall score of 6.0 with no band below 5.5.
  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 72 (Reading 18, Writing 17, Listening 17, Speaking 20). The Home Edition is not accepted.

Cost of Study

The international tuition fee for the MSc Engineering Management programme at University College Birmingham is £17,000 per year. Please note that tuition fees are subject to an annual review.
