MSc International Business Management and Accountancy

This MSc course at Teesside University teaches you important skills in international business and accountancy. You will learn about the world economy, global money rules, and how to manage money in businesses everywhere. It also helps you understand how to spot and stop financial crime. This course aims to give you a full picture of running businesses across borders and key accounting ideas.

You will also do a research plan, look at existing writings, and complete a main research project (a dissertation). This way, you will learn to use business ideas in real situations.

A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CV (their work history) along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.

Grade Requirements

• A good honours degree (at least a 2:2) in a related subject.
• The university also considers professional qualifications or other equivalent qualifications.

English Proficiency

• You need a high level of English to write academic essays and reports, listen to lectures and take notes, summarise academic texts, give academic presentations and take part in discussions and seminars.
• If English is not your first language, you will need to show that you have the required English skills to study this course. For this Master's programme, you should have an IELTS Academic score of 6.0 overall, with no part lower than 5.5. The university also accepts other equivalent English language tests, such as Pearson PTE.

The tuition fee for international students is £17,000 a year.
