MSc Sustainable Aviation
Course overview
The Swansea University MSc Sustainable Aviation programme actively shapes the future of aviation by focusing on sustainable design and production in the field of aerospace engineering. Students will also acquire knowledge in advanced propulsion systems and next-generation, net-zero aircraft technologies. Some of the other major topics in this programme are airframe structures, flight dynamics, control and the essential application of composite materials in aircraft construction.
The course focuses on the practical skills and real-world application, which allows students to take part in a Group Design Project, where they are required to work in groups in order to address industry issues. This is followed by a personal research project, the MSc Dissertation, which is under the guidance of highly qualified academic staff.
