Course overview
The LLB Law with Criminology with Foundation Year at Sheffield Hallam University is a great option if you do not meet the entry requirements for the main degree, or if you would like extra preparation before starting. At every stage of the course, you will learn the law and the practical skills needed to apply it to a variety of real and simulated cases. You will also learn about criminal behaviour and how the law affects society. Throughout your study, you will get important industry experience working with lawyers on real projects. The course is designed to develop your practical legal skills and prepare you to work with legal service providers and their clients. The department is committed to helping those who do not have or cannot afford legal representation. You can get involved in several of the student legal advice projects that support access to justice, including the local court helpdesks and the Refugee Rights Hub.
