BSc Midwifery

The BSc (Hons) Midwifery course at London South Bank University is designed to produce midwives who are eligible to register for the NMC. This programme will build leaders and agents of change, who are creative and work with evidence in women’s healthcare. It encourages teamwork and pushes students to take control of their professional growth.

This programme is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). It partners with healthcare providers and families to make sure that students are receiving practical education by allowing them to work in different maternity settings and experience different childbirth processes. Students are eligible for the NMC registration after graduation.

Applicants need to submit a personal statement and relevant information regarding their studies, an academic and/or employer reference, CVs to show their work experience, and a DBS check will be carried out.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants need 112 UCAS points including A-levels, BTEC or equivalent with Maths, English and Science subjects.
• Other International qualifications equivalent to A-levels are also accepted.
• A GCSE at grade 4 or C or above in English and Mathematics is accepted.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants need an IELTS score of 7.0 overall, with no component below 7.0.
• PTE Academic and TOEFL iBT are accepted.

The tuition fee for the BSc (Hons) Midwifery course is £17,600 for international students.

These scholarships offer financial assistance and recognition for students' academic achievements and other talents, with funding amounts that differ depending on the specific scholarship and the student's eligibility.
