MSc Human Nutrition

The London Metropolitan University MSc Human Nutrition programme is accredited by the Association for Nutrition. It is designed for graduates with a degree in a related subject. It prepares you for careers in public health or sports nutrition. In this course, you will study advanced concepts in human metabolism and nutrition science, alongside developing strong research skills, including data analysis and critical evaluation of academic work.

In this course, students’ progress will be assessed through practical reports, written exams, and a major dissertation project. The programme also includes workshops to assist with academic writing and other university tasks. The focus is on preparing you for a future as a professional nutritionist.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants need at least a lower second class (2.2) undergraduate degree in nutrition or a related subject such as biochemistry, sports science, or physiology.
• Applicants with degrees in other related subjects may be considered on an individual basis.

English Proficiency:

• IELTS overall score of 6.5 with no individual section score below 6.0.
• Equivalent qualifications such as TOEFL or PTE are also accepted.
