DPsych Counselling Psychology

The DPsych Counselling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University is a three-year programme that offers integrated clinical training and extensive professional development. It is the only programme of its kind in Scotland. 

This programme allows students to build their ability to work with complex client groups and contribute impactful research to the field of psychological health. It also includes clinical training in both human and cognitive-behavioural approaches.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants need at least a second-class honours undergraduate degree in psychology that meets British Psychological Society (BPS) standards for the Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC).
• Applicants who show relevant work experience or credits from recognised professional bodies, through the University's Recognition of Prior Learning scheme, may also be considered.

English Proficiency:

• Non-English speaking applicants need to score 7.0 overall in IELTS with not less than 6.5 in each component.

The annual full-time tuition fee for the DPsych Counselling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University is £16,200 for international students.
