MSc Global Pharmaceutical and Biotech Management

This programme is designed to prepare students for leadership and management roles in the therapeutic sector by teaching them how to handle the scientific, regulatory, and business challenges of the industry. It focuses on developing skills in innovation, commercial expertise, and leadership. The course uses a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, seminars, and group projects, and also includes business case studies and the creation of a personal leadership portfolio. Students in the course will study modules that total 180 credits per year.

The course is evaluated through methods such as online tests, coursework, presentations, reports, and group and individual assignments. The assessment process is designed to fairly measure student progress and their achievement of the learning outcomes. Some teaching and assessments may be conducted online, using the university's online tools.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants need a minimum of a second-class honours undergraduate degree or a relevant international equivalent.
• This should be in a chemical, biological, or medical-related subject. Alternatively, a different degree may be considered if the student has enough relevant work experience.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds need an overall score of at least 6.5 in IELTS, with no section below 5.5, or they can submit an equivalent test score.
• If this is not met, a pre-sessional English programme can be completed to reach the required level before starting the course.

The annual tuition fee for the Master of Science in Global Pharmaceutical and Biotech Management for International students is £18,600.
