Overview
The MSc Global Healthcare Management course is designed to improve students' understanding of leadership and management principles within healthcare, public health, and other care sectors. It aims to prepare graduates with a moral and entrepreneurial mindset to lead in global health systems. The curriculum uses international case studies and real-world examples, focusing on change management, continuous improvement, and innovation.
The programme's learning approach is centred around independent, self-directed study, complemented by a blend of teaching methods such as lectures, seminars, presentations, group projects, and workshops. Students can expect to have between 8 and 12 teaching and learning hours per week. Assessments are varied and may include reports, essays, practical coursework, presentations, and a final 60-credit dissertation.
Entry Requirements
Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CV along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.
Grade Requirements:
- Applicants need to have at least an honours degree 2:2 or above (or international equivalent) in a clinical, health, or social care discipline.
- A different degree will be acceptable if the student has enough relevant work experience.
English Proficiency:
- Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds need to score an overall of 6.5 in IELTS (with 5.5 in each section) or submit an equivalent test score.

Scholarships
