MEng Motorsport Engineering

The MEng Motorsport Engineering at Coventry University is a four-year course that helps you build the technical knowledge and skills for roles in motorsport or performance engineering. You will learn about important topics in mechanical engineering, such as how race cars are designed, how vehicles are built, and how to make them perform better.

Teaching combines theory with practical learning through industry projects, lab work, and international competitions (subject to availability and application). In addition, you will be taught by staff with industry experience, work with engineering companies, and have access to specialist facilities in the university’s High Performance Engineering Centre.

Studying MEng Motorsport Engineering at Coventry University also gives you the chance to take part in field trips and apply your knowledge to real-world problems. This prepares you for a professional engineering career in motorsport or beyond.

Coventry University started as the Coventry School of Design in 1843. Over the decades, it has evolved from being a school of design to officially gaining university status in 1992. Coventry University operates primarily from its main campus in the city centre of Coventry, which is continually developing with ongoing investment. Grade Requirements:

• UCAS tariff score of 120.
• A Levels at ABB, BTEC at DDD, or IB of 16 points.

English Proficiency:

• International students are required to demonstrate proficiency in English through recognised tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, Pearson, and others.

The tuition fee to study MEng Motorsport Engineering at Coventry University for the 2025/2026 academic session is £19,850. Fees are paid yearly and are subject to change.

Coventry University gives different types of financial support to international students. One example is the International Pathways Scholarship, worth £3,000. It is for students applying to a foundation course, an international year one, or a pre-master’s programme. You do not need to apply separately. It is given automatically if you meet the academic requirements.
