MEng Aerospace Engineering

Course Overview

Coventry University’s MEng Aerospace Engineering is a four-year postgraduate degree that prepares students to design and develop quality aircraft systems. It combines mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineering with a focus on innovation and expertise.

Students start with engineering subjects and later specialise in aerodynamics, hydraulics, flight control, and aircraft structures. In these modules, flight simulators are used to generate 61 channels of flight data, which can be analysed to evaluate the accuracy of a student’s design.

This course includes advanced mapping, systems integration, and a final-year project based on industry or research challenges. Teaching involves lectures, labs, group projects, and hands-on workshops. Assessment is done through examinations, coursework, essays, and presentations.
