BSc Civil Engineering

Course Overview

Entry Requirements for Nigerian Students

You are required to submit a personal statement in which you discuss your reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding your studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. You have the option to include your CV along with your applications to show your work experience.

Grade Requirements: 

  • To be enrolled, you need A-Level, T Level, an Access to HE Diploma, an International Baccalaureate, a BTEC, or equivalent.
  • International qualifications equivalent to A-levels are also accepted.

English Proficiency: 

  • Applicants whose English is not their primary language need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with no individual part (reading, writing, listening, or speaking) scoring lower than 5.5. The university also accepts other SELT test scores.

Cost of Study

The annual tuition fee for international students taking the BSc Civil Engineering at Coventry University is £19,850.

Scholarships

Coventry University offers several scholarships to help international undergraduate students with their studies. The CU Undergraduate Scholarship can provide up to £6,000 for a three-year degree course, allocated as £2,000 per year. 

Additionally, the Vice-Chancellor Undergraduate Scholarship may offer up to £4,000 off tuition fees for a 3-year bachelor's degree course starting in September 2025. These scholarships are dependent on specific eligibility criteria and successful enrolment.
