MSc Physiotherapy Pre-Registration

The MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) at Buckinghamshire New University is designed for anyone who has obtained a degree, even in any field, who wants to become a qualified physiotherapist. This is an intensive programme that combines scientific knowledge with practical skills so you can help patients recover from injury, manage pain, and improve movement.

You will study subjects like anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques, among others. You will also learn about healthcare systems, patient communication, and how to work with other medical professionals. all these combinations to equip you with relevant knowledge and skills to excel in your work in the field

You will learn through a mix of classroom lectures, hands-on practical sessions, and real-life placements in healthcare settings. Assessments will include written assignments, practical exams, and clinical evaluations during your placements. This ensures you can apply what you learn directly to patients.

Grade Requirements:

• A minimum of a UK upper-second-class degree (or above) in a related field is required.
• Equivalent international qualifications will also be considered.
• Applicants also need five GCSEs at grade C or above, which must include English Language or Literature, Mathematics, and a Science subject.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants from non-English-speaking backgrounds must achieve a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.0, with at least 5.5 in each component.
• Equivalent test scores, such as TOEFL or PTE, are also accepted.

For the 2025/2026 academic year, Buckinghamshire New University charges international students £17,000 for the MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) programme.
