BSc Nursing Adult

Course Overview

The BSc Nursing (Adult) at Brunel University London takes three years to complete and it combines theory and practical experience. Students will spend 50% of their time on clinical placements in different healthcare settings, such as a hospital.

The course will teach students about caring for adults with short-term and long-term diseases and help them stay healthy and prevent disease. After completing this course, graduates can register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Students will get regular feedback in different forms, such as discussions after mock practice, written comments and instant online feedback, which is being timed. They will be assessed through written assignment, examinations and OSCE presentation (objective structured clinical examination).

  • Candidates need an A-level or BTEC qualification in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Maths, Human Biology, Psychology Physics or PE.
  • GCSE at grade C or 4 in mathematics and English language.
  • Other international equivalent qualifications are also accepted.

English Proficiency:

  • Candidates need an IELTS score of 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in all sections.
  • Other English language test scores, such as PTE Academic and TOEFL IBT, are accepted, to name a few.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for the BSc Nursing (Adult) at Brunel University London for the academic year is £22,320.

Scholarships

Brunel University London has some financial support options for international students. International students paying their fees might be eligible for a £3,000 bursary. To be considered, they will need to have an offer to study and pay a £5,000 deposit by August 30, 2025. They do not need to apply separately for this bursary; eligible students are automatically considered.

The university also offers the Vice Chancellor's Undergraduate Excellence Award. This award gives 25 students a 25% discount on their tuition fees each year. To be eligible, students need to apply for the scholarship early and achieve good grades, like ABB in A Levels.
