MZool Zoology with Primatology

Bangor University

Course overview

This is an extended degree (undergraduate + master's) programme that's designed to both lay the foundations of zoology with primatology and guide them through the advanced stages of primate biology, behaviour, ecology, evolution, and conservation.

During the first year, students will learn foundational biological sciences with a focus on cell and molecular biology, physiology, ecology, evolution, biodiversity, and general zoology.

As the MZool Zoology with Primatology at Bangor University progresses, students will be introduced to primatology, primate behaviour, adaptation, and conservation. The final year involves advanced-level research. This gives students a platform to conduct original research in primatology, conservation, or related areas.
