MSc Nanotechnology and Microfabrication

Bangor University

Course overview

This one-year, full-time MSc in Electronic Engineering at Bangor University gives graduates both the knowledge and practical skills needed for nanotechnology and microfabrication, which means working at extremely small scales. The course uses a very hands-on approach and includes many practical exercises and real-world examples.

Bangor University is one of the very few universities in the UK that offers direct, hands-on experience making devices in a special clean room and operating laser micro-machining equipment. This excellent practical training, which is usually assessed through practical reports, project work, and a final written dissertation, has been praised by external examiners and will prepare students to design and build small-scale devices.
