For those seeking private accommodation, AHZ’s accommodation service provides support in finding rental properties in the local area.

Swansea University’s international students will get to enjoy over 150 clubs and societies, ranging from academic and cultural groups to sports teams and creative societies. Students can join clubs related to their academic interests or hobbies, such as the Engineering Society, Swansea Business Society, or Surfing Club. The university’s Students’ Union plays an active role in organising events, from music gigs and film nights to charity fundraisers and academic workshops.

Swansea’s location by the beach also makes it a popular destination for students who enjoy outdoor activities such as surfing, sailing, and hiking in the nearby Gower Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Beyond technical subjects, the university is also known for its strong programmes in the Humanities, including English, History, and International Relations.
